Benmr: Bellator 180 Predictions (Sonnen vs Silva) – FREE for UFC Fight Night 112 subscribers

Well, the fight junkie degenerate that I am, I couldn’t pass up on this card.  Bellator typically is full of crap fights but this is Bellator’s biggest event. Event will be held at, for the first time, in NYC at Madison Square Garden and will be Bellator’s second PPV event.  They’ve stacked the card as best they can with most of their top roster names. I saw a couple interesting lines that I will be playing so thought I’d share with fellow UFC subscribers.

Enjoy,

Benmr

  1. Never been confident with Bellator. Most of the time the matches look half-assed and the fighters just looking for a quick buck and out of shape. What are your thoughts

  2. Steve – agree with you 100%. Bellator obviously gets all the 2nd tier fighters so their performance becomes very unpredictable. Also, Bellator seems to be angling themselves as this Seniors fight tour which is also scary since who the heck knows how these old farts will do after such long layoffs.

Obviously, every package you buy, there’s always a risk and a warning of “playing at your own risk.” My picks, along with everyone else out there who sells their service, is just showing subscribers what we are playing for this card.

The one thing I will say about Bellator 180, and why I am playing this event is that this is such an important event for the organization. It’s only their 2nd PPV event and its being held in NYC. So they know they will have their biggest audience ever so you’d expect Bellator to put forth their rosters best fighters. That’s really the main reason why I am more comfortable than normal playing this Bellator event. You don’t only have scrubs fighting that make things unpredictable. You have their very best. Although Bellator’s very best is still behind UFCs talent, its definitely a smaller talent gap, so hopefully, things can be a bit more predictable, like for UFC events.

  3. And that’s why we should stay away from bellator. Lost 2 parlays cuz of a freak accident where Chandler broke his ankle in the first round. He was gonna destroy his opponent too
