Update: check here for the week 8 Blazing Five Picks when it becomes available
Colin had another winning week, going 3-2 last week after going 4-1 the week before, putting him at 4 games over .500 for the year, which is a solid 57.7% winning pct.
If you’re looking for other winners, Chris Berman (24-8) and Ripsaw (24-5-1) have been killing it so far this year. And don’t miss our boy Cousin Sal’s picks this week, who went 2-1 last week.
THE HERD’S BLAZIN’ FIVE PICKS NFL 2016 WEEK 7 (Season Record 17-13):
[winner] San Diego (+6.5) at Atlanta – Cousin Sal also picking the Chargers this game. Despite their 2-4 record, Chargers have led in their games for 233 minutes this season, which is 3rd in the league. Becoming off a physical game against the Seahawks last week, they are a little beat up. Too many points to give up. Colin thinks Atl wins 24-23.
[winner] Baltimore at New York Jets (-1) – Ravens lost their last three games, even two of their wins were against the lowly Jags and Browns. Ravens have the weaker roster of these two teams, they are averaging 4.9 yards per play this year, which ranks last in the AFC. Jets defense should shut them down. Jets win 24-20.
[winner] Buffalo at Miami (+3) – Miami’s offense is averaging 6.0 yards per play, which is ranked 6th in the league. Pretty surprising, but Miami offense is actually very efficient. Miami play well at home with 2-1 record. Miami win outright 23-21.
[winner] Minnesota at Philadelphia (+2.5) – Upset alert here. The undefeated Vikings have a weak offensive line, and Philly’s strength is their defensive line, ranked 10th in the league in sacks, that’s including a bye week. Philly wins outright in an upset 24-23.
[loser] Seattle at Arizona (-2) – Arizona defense has not allowed 300 yards since week 2, and have forced a league high 14 takeaways. Seattle just came off a tough win, going up against a Cardinals team that plays tough at home. Arizona needs this game more than Seattle. Cardinals win 26-20.
