Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica shares his best bets for Week 6 of the college football season. Last week he went 4-3, and overall he is now 15-17-1 on the season.

In this week’s picks, Fallica details his favorite wagers including point spreads for each game.

Chris Fallica’s Week 6 Picks:

  • UCLA (-3) at No. 13 Washington State
  • California (+9.5) at No. 15 Oregon State
  • No. 20 Kentucky at No. 1 Georgia (-14.5)
  • Texas A&M (+2.5) at No. 11 Alabama
  • Marshall (+6.5) at North Carolina State
  • Moneyline underdogs:
    • Marshall (+210)
    • Louisville (+225)
    • Akron (+180)
    • Missouri (+200)
    • Iowa State (+190)
    • Wyoming (+190)
    • Cal (+290)
    • Texas A&M (+125)

UCLA (-3) at No. 13 Washington State

Fallica believes UCLA’s defense, which leads the nation in opponent yards per play, will offer a stiff test to Washington State’s offense. He sees this as an “it’s not an upset” upset with the unranked Bruins favored over the ranked Cougars.

California (+9.5) at No. 15 Oregon State

Fallica thinks Cal is due for a letdown after a ho-hum win over ASU. He feels the Bears defense will confuse Oregon State QB DJ Uiagalelei, who has struggled recently. While not predicting an outright upset, Fallica believes Cal will cover the 9.5 point spread.

No. 20 Kentucky at No. 1 Georgia (-14.5)

Fallica expects Georgia to finally put together a complete 60 minute effort after slow starts this season. With Kentucky’s offense struggling historically in Athens, he sees the Bulldogs covering the big spread.

Texas A&M (+2.5) at No. 11 Alabama

Fallica believes Texas A&M’s elite defensive line will contain Alabama’s inconsistent rushing attack. He also thinks A&M QB Max Johnson has enough experience to lead the offense. With the Aggies hungry for the upset, Fallica predicts they will cover and potentially win outright as underdogs.

Marshall (+6.5) at North Carolina State

Fallica believes Marshall’s strong running game behind Rasheen Ali will pose problems for NC State’s defense. Having already beaten an inferior ACC team in Virginia Tech this season, he thinks the Herd have an excellent chance to cover the spread as 6.5 point underdogs against the Wolfpack. Fallica points to NC State’s inconsistent offense and quarterback issues as reason to doubt them covering a sizable spread.
