Colin swept the conference championship games a couple weeks ago, picking both winners that ended up in Super Bowl LI.  Here is Colin’s Super Bowl Pick.

If you’re looking for other winners, you know who has been on fire?  Bill SimmonsChris Berman and Supercontest leaders also have been killing it so far this year. And be sure to check out these two New Yorkers, Mike Francesa and Craig Carton both have been quietly have a great year, both picking at over 60% for the season. And don’t miss our boy Cousin Sal’s picks this week.

THE HERD’S BLAZIN’ FIVE 2017 Super Bowl LI (51) Pick (Season Record 49-38-3):

Atlanta vs New England (-3) – going against Cousin Sal’s Super Bowl Pick here.  There’s no doubt Atlanta has a potent offense and they will be able to put up points this game.  But there’s reason the Patriots are the favorite this game, they are simply the more complete team.  64% of the favorites in previous Super Bowls have won the trophy.  Falcons defense is suspect, with weak corners and iffy pass rushing.  Patriots will slow down the Falcons offense by playing keep away and grinding out long drives.  Matt Ryan has been great at home this year, but his stats are down on the road.  The Falcons will score, but this will be a close game.  Swallow the points, New England wins 31-27 to cover the -3 and the under 58.5.
