THE HERD’S BLAZIN’ FIVE PICKS NFL 2016 WEEK 15 (Season Record 39-29-2):
Green Bay (-6.5) at Chicago – Bears are stuck with Barkley at QB this week, while GB has one of the best. Arod has a 13-4 record against Bears, with 38 TDs and 9 Ints in his career. GB’s defense also has been playing well, with 9 sacks and 8 takeaways in their last 3 games. GB wins this game 31-20.
Oakland (-3) at San Diego – Oakland last played 2 Thursday ago, so they’re coming off 10 days rest. If you take out the games against KC, the Raiders offense is averaging 30.5 ppg. Rivers has been banged up behind that awful offensive line, which has led him to throw a league most 17 picks this year. Oakland wins 34-26.
Tennessee (+5.5) at Kansas City – Titans have the best redzone TD efficiency in the league, scoring a TD in 71.4% of their RZ drives, which is led by the third best rushing offense in the league with 144.5 YPG. Titans also has the better QB this game. KC will win 27-26 but will not cover.
Detroit (+4.5) at New York – Eli is completing under 60% of his passes in the last 4 games. The Giants’ wins have been mostly led by their defense. The Lions have won 8 of their last 9, and Stafford is in the MVP conversation this year. He has thrown for 15 TDs and just 3 Ints last 9 games. Giants are coming off a huge emotional upset win against the Cowboys last week and due for a let down game. Detroit wins 26-24.
Tampa Bay (+7) at Dallas – Bucs have a legit defense, allowing just 12.8 PPG in their last 5 games. Tied the league lead for takeaways with 25. With more film available on Dak, defenses will be able to contain him better. Dallas wins 26-23 but will not cover.
