Update: check back here for Cowherd week 7 picks when they become available

The great news is that Colin went 4-1 last week, free money for all Blazing Five followers!  The bad news is Colin is going to go on and on about what a genius he is and he is the NFL handicapping god.  The week puts him at 14-11 (56%) on the year.  Let’s go Colin, keep this rolling.

If you’re looking for other winners, Chris Berman (21-6) and Ripsaw (21-4) have been killing it so far this year.  And don’t miss our boy Cousin Sal’s picks this week, who went 3-0 last week.

THE HERD’S BLAZIN’ FIVE PICKS NFL 2016 WEEK 6 (Season Record 14-11):

[winner] Philadelphia at Washington (+2.5) – going against Cousin Sal’s best bet this week here.  Colin LOVES the Skins this year, have picked the pretty much every week this year.  Washington plays well within the NFC East divisional games.  Washington are on 3 game winning streak where they have 7 take aways and Cousins has over 100 passer rating.  Their defense has allowed only 3 TD passes in the last month.  Washington wins outright 27-23.

[loser] Indianapolis at Houston (-3.5) – Colts allowed Brian Hoyer to throw for 400 yards  and 2 TD last week, their secondary stinks.  Have allowed 70 passing plays of over 10+ yards, easily the most in the NFL.  Houston is also 3-0 at home.  Texans win 36-26.

[winner] Pittsburgh at Miami (+7.5) – Cousin Sal also likes this pick.  Take the points at home.  Dolphins have a legit defense, with 6th best 3rd down defense in the NFL, and only allowed 5.75 yards per play, which is 9th in the NFL.  While the Steelers allow the 6th most yards per play.  Colin is going with the better defense here, Steelers wins 27-26.

[winner] Kansas City (+1) at Oakland – Again, Cousin Sal loves this pick as well, and Colin making it sound like his play of the day, putting his “401k” on Kansas City.  Andy Reid is 15-2 coming off a bye week.  Oakland is the only team in NFL allowing over 7 yards per play.  Colin love teams that got embarrassed on national TV and getting extra preparation time with the bye week.   Alex Smith has won 13 of his last 16 games.  KC wins 30-24.

[loser] Dallas at Green Bay (-4) – Packers have the best rushing defense in the league, allowing only 42.8 yards a game.  Arod hasn’t thrown a 2nd half TD this year, but he has put up 48 TDs and 6 INTs in Lambeau the last 3 seasons.  Green Bay defense will overwhelm the young Dallas team.  Green Bay wins 27-20.
