Update: here are Cousin Sal week 3 picks

Tough loss on that bears game last week for our Cousin Sal’s best bet.  Bears were winning outright for 47 minutes and covering for 54 minutes of the game!  But they were shut out for the entire second half.  Overall, Cousin went 1-2 to start the season.

-$1,980 Chicago + $1,200 Detroit – $770 Tennessee = -$1,550 on the week.
Bankroll = $8,450

Supposedly Sal and the Sports Guy teamed up this year for the Westgate Supercontest, but they didn’t pick the Bears on their card for some reason.  Good for them though, going 4-1 last week.

Don’t forget to check out Colin Cowherd’s week 2 picks, they actually didn’t overlap any picks this week.

COUSIN SAL 2016 NFL WEEK 2 BEST BETS:

Best Bet of the Week

3-pick

[winner] San Francisco at Carolina (-13) – Niners looked great last week against the pathetic Rams, but Panthers have 10 days to prepare for this game.  Niners will have to travel all the way across the country on a short week AND playing a 10AM game.  Niners are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 games as road dogs.  Sal’s looking for Panthers to dominate on both sides of the ball this week.  $1400 on Carolina

Other Best Bets

1-pick

[winner] Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (-3.5) – Bengals averaged under 16 points per game vs Pitt over last 12 meetings in this rivalry.  And 16 points just isn’t enough to beat this offensive machine they call the Steelers, Big Ben and King Antonio are simply stoppable at this point, imagine when they get LeVeon back in that scary offense.  $700 on Pitt here.

2-pick

[winner] New Orleans (+4.5) at New York Giants – Last year when they met, Brees lit up the Giants for 7 TDs and over 500 yards.  Yikes!  Giants defense stink.  Nola is 5-1 in their last 6 games as underdog, 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games on the road.  $800 on Nola +4.5.
