Update: check back here for Cousin Sal’s week 6 picks when they come out

Man, Cousin Sal, you’re better than this.  Jets and Carolina both got blown out, and Raiders almost blew the lead.  Good thing Derek Carr bailed us out a little bit on the last drive, sealing a 1-2 week.  What can you say, Seattle starting to look good ahain, and Atlanta has been the surprising team all year (just ask Bill Simmons).

Be sure to check out Colin’s picks as well.

Start Week 3 Bankroll: $10,700

-$1,100 Jets + $500 Raiders  $770 Panthers

Ending Week 3 Bankroll: $9,330

Best Bet of the Week (Season Record 2-2)

3

[winner] New England (-625 ML) at Cleveland – Cousin Sal getting desperado! or getting reckless, hope his season doesn’t end here if the Pats lose this week.  Patriots just got embarrassed last week, getting shut out by the Bills.  With Tom Brady coming back this week from suspension, the team should be playing with their hair on fire.  In the last 13 years, Patriots are 40-6 following a loss in regular season.  Cousin Sal is putting the HOUSE on this game, putting his entire remaining stash of $8,560 for Pats to win outright.  Godspeed buddy.

Other Best Bets (Season record 4-4)

1

[winner] Philadelphia at Detroit (+3) – The early bye week might actually hurt the Eagles momentum, rookie Carson Wentz is due for a lousy game on the road.  Lions are 12-3 ATS after scoring 15 points of less the previous game.  $300 on Lions here. The Swami likes this pick as well, and before you brush him off…he’s actually 18-4 ATS on the year.

2

[winner] New York Giants (+7.5) at Green Bay – Sam Shields is out this week, and Giants have 3 elite receivers on the team.  Eli Manning usually plays well against the Giants.  Giants are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against the Packers.  Cousin Sal is putting $400 on the Giants +7.5.
