Update: check here for the week 9 Cousin Sal Picks when it becomes available
Our Cousin Sal actually is having a fantastic year, picking at a 62% rate so far this year. Everybody should be happy right? The problem is Cousin Sal has not been doing too well with his Bet of the Week picks, only 3-4 this year. Perhaps he just set the bar so high last year, he is his own worst enemy right now.
If you’re looking for other winners, Chris Berman (26-11) and Ripsaw (27-7-1) have been killing it so far this year. Be sure to check out Colin’s picks as well.
Start Week 6 Bankroll: $11,160
-$910 Titans + $500 Bengals + $400 Chargers
Ending Week 6 Bankroll: $1,150
Best Bet of the Week (Season Record 3-4)
[winner] Moneyline parlay with New England and Denver
New England (ML) at Buffalo – will be revenging their only loss of the season here. Belichick has not been swept by a division foe in the year 2000. Brady is on fire this year, with 8 TDs and 0 INT. Definitely a MVP candidate. Bills are banged up, McCoy might miss this game. Pats should win easily.
San Diego at Denver (ML) – also will be revenging their loss to San Diego just a couple weeks ago. Denver defense only allows 18 points per game at home. Broncos have won 8 of their last 9 home games.
Sal’s putting $600 on his best bet.
Other Best Bets (Season record 10-4)
[loser] Green Bay at Atlanta (-3) – Green Bay is 2-6 in their last 8 games as underdogs of 4 points of less. Packers have no running game. Their defense won’t be able to contain the Falcons’ receivers. Cousin Sal’s putting $400 on the Falcons.
[winner] Seattle at New Orleans (+3) – Seattle is playing their second straight road game, they were lucky to come out with a tie last week at Arizona. Seattle’s defense spent a ton of time on the field last week. Saints are 14-3 in their last 17 games ATS as an underdog. $500 on the Saints +3 this week.
