Update: Here is Cousin Sal’s Conference Championship Picks  for the Pitt/NE and GB/ATL games

We got some good news and bad news.  The good news is that Sal finally broke a 7 game losing streak in the wild card round, and he actually hit his best bet to break that losing streak.  The crappy news is that Sal’s picks are still crap.  He went 1-3 last week. Proceed with caution fellas.

If you’re looking for other winners, you know who has been on fire?  The Sports Guy, Bill SimmonsChris Berman and Supercontest leaders also have been killing it so far this year. And be sure to check out these two New Yorkers, Mike Francesa and Craig Carton both have been quietly have a great year, both picking at over 60% for the season.  Be sure to check out Colin’s picks as well.

Starting Week 18 Bankroll: $7,430

Ending Week 18 Bankroll: $7,239

Best Bet of the Week (Season Record 9-9)

Seattle at Atlanta (-4.5) – Atlanta’s offense is simply on fire this year.  They lost a close one to Seattle earlier this season, but that was before the Earl Thomas injury.  Seattle is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.  Sal’s making his BIGGEST bet of the year on the Atlanta Falcons this week for $3000!!

Other Best Bets (Season record 18-19)

Two team 6 point teaser for $600

  • Houston at New England (-10) – Pats are 6-0 ATS as a favorite of 10 or more points in the last 2 seasons.  The last time Houston played in New England earlier this season, they lost 27-0.
  • Green Bay (+10) at Dallas – Green Bay has scored 30+ points in 5 straight games.  Sal expects the Dallas rookie duos to have some early jitters for their first playoff game.  Packers won’t lose by double digits.

Pittsburgh at Kansas City (-1.5) – There’s good value on the Chiefs as a small favorite at home.  KC is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite of 3 points or less.  Pittsburgh is not as good on the road against good teams.  Sal’s putting $600 on the Chiefs.
