You’re hilarious Sal.  You must be toying with us with those 6 losers, going 0fer the last 2 weeks.  At least you can’t do worse.  Get it together buddy.

If you’re looking for other winners, you know who has been on fire?  Bill Simmons, yes, the Sports Guy.  His season was left for dead in the first half of the year, but he’s 25-8 in the last 7 weeks. Chris Berman and Supercontest leaders also have been killing it so far this year. And be sure to check out these two New Yorkers, Mike Francesa and Craig Carton both have been quietly have a great year, both picking at over 60% for the season.  Be sure to check out Colin’s picks as well.

Starting Week 17 Bankroll: $9,850

Ending Week 17 Bankroll: $7,430

Best Bet of the Week (Season Record 8-9)

Detroit at Seattle (-7.5) – The Lions have not won a road playoff game since 1957, and the Seahawks always seem to turn it up a notch in the playoffs under Pete Carroll.  Russell Wilson will not have any problem throwing the ball downfield against a Lions secondary that has allowed 73% pass completion.  Sal’s putting $700 for Seattle to win in a blowout.

Other Best Bets (Season record 18-16)

Oakland (+4) at Houston – Sal’s putting a whopping $10 on the Raiders this game just for the hell of it.  It’s such a bad game with bad QBs, it’s going to be a toss up this game.

Miami (+10) at Pittsburgh – Laying double digits in the playoffs is too much.  Sal expects Miami to run all over the Steelers this game.  Ajayi ran for 204 yards on them earlier this year.  Jarvis Landry will also be key this game.  Miami is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. Sal’s putting $400 on the Dolphins.

New York Giants (+4.5) at Green Bay – The Packers have been smoking hot going into the playoffs, but they have one major issue…the 14 players listed on their injury report.  Meanwhile, the Giants have lights out defensively this year.  Giants are 9-0 ATS in their last 9 road playoff games.  Sal’s putting another $400 on the Giants here.
