Scouring for waiver wire pickups NFL week 2

What do you typically do to find your waiver wire pickups for the upcoming week? Read roto news? Listen to Matthew Berry podcasts? For me, I prefer to quickly look through every single box score for the week. Most people would find it annoying and tedious to click through 16 box scores, but it really isn't that bad. Really only takes about 15 second per box score to quickly look through the position players. There's no reason to look at any other players except the running backs and the receivers. He had a few glory weeks last season. Might be a long year for the bills. RB - Forsett and West basically splitting carries, what a nightmare. Looks like LeSean doesn't have any backups to steal carries. WR - Watkins has a huge injury concern. Steve Smitth Jr. still getting tons of targets as a old man, impressive. No real sleepers here. QB - Cam started well, especially with the rushing TD, passing stats are ehhhhh for the top drafted QB. Siemian doesn't appear to be a relevant fantasy football player. RB - Booker was suppose to be a sleeper, but that fumble on his first NFL carry pretty much ruined it. WR - Thomas has a concerning injury, watch out for Virgil Green to steal some of the targets if Thomas is out for extended time. Cam loves Benji and Olsen, no surprise there. QB - Osweiler is still a question mark, is he worth that contract? RB - Langford had a huge workload, could be the steal of the draft. Matthew Berry is gloating about that Lamar Miller sleeper pick as the top RB in the NFL, he was one of the 2 RBs that rushed over 100 yards this week. WR - Will Fuller could spell Hopkins in the long run, that's a scary 1-2 WR punch. Fuller really stands out so far as a waiver wire target this week. QB - Dalton wasn't suppose to have a good game. But he showed up for sure, even without some of his usual receivers. RB - Guess Forte isn't washed up yet. Hill/Bernard duo is a disaster for fantasy owners. WR - Revis Island what?? A.J. Green schooled Revis all game, very impressive. Enunwa is intriguing with 8 targets. QB - RG3 on IR already, wtf! Browns had chance to draft Wentz and passed on him, could be a mistake. WR - Ryan Mathews getting 22 carries is a shocker, don't expect this going forward. WR - Terrelle Pryor has got to be the most hyped player after week 1, he's going to get lots of looks this week in the waiver wire. Jordan Matthews came out with 14 targets, what the heck? Could be one of the steals of the draft. Ertz ended up being one of the top tightends this week in a weak tightends market. QB - Stafford sooooo underrated for fantasy purposes, especially if they'll be losing much of the games this year, can you say garbage time points? Andrew Luck is a beast on a crappy team. RB - Theo is a TD machine. The duo with Ameer is a disaster for the owners. WR - Hilton didn't put up huge stats, but the 12 targets should be promising to the owners. Jack Doyle with 2 TDs at tightend, worth a look? Marvin Jones escaped A.J. Green's shadows and all of a sudden looking like a legit number 1 receiver? that's cray cray, he stunk it up in cincy. QB - Did you see that throw by Arod throwing a TD strike to Adams with defender tugging on his jersey? Arod's a stickman...cocksman. RB - Ivory missed this game, he'll take over as the lead back when he comes back, Yeldon looked pathetic. WR - Jordy is back! Which should means Cobb most likely will benefit from Jordy's comeback. Davante Adams staying relevant even with Jordy coming back is interesting. Allen Robinson with 15 targets??? whoa! Not sure if that's more interesting or the 9 balls he didn't catch that went his way. QB - Wilson might have hurt his ankle, probably not a big deal. He stuck it up for a high draft fantasy draft pick, gotta pick it up buddy RB - So much hype for Rawls, so little production. Ajayi a healthy scratch? what the heck? WR - Landry picking up where he left off last year, 10 targets is promising. And talk about picking up where he left off, Doug Baldwin came out of no where end of last season, and continues with his torrid TD pace. Lockett had a disappointing game for someone that was hyped up in preseason. QB - Will Sam Bradford start next week? RB - AP is 31 years old, showing his age for a running back? Hey, Derrick Henry homers, that was called the PRESEASON!!! Yall must be disappointed. WR - Diggs legit. Keep an eye on Tajae Sharpe, appears to be the top target for Mariota, he really doesn't have any other competition. QB - Welcome to the NFL Dak, it's not the preseason anymore, and this is what happens. RB - For all that hype, call me a non-believer Ezek. WR - Another welcome to the NFL moment, Sherpard with his first NFL td, could be a solid player this season. Old fart Witten getting 14 targets? Where Dez at? Just shows Dak not comfortable throwing downfield yet. QB - Carr stickman...cocksman. Brees still has it. RB - Who the heck is this Richard kid? Had a sick TD run. WR - Cooper is legit, could be a sleeper in the top tier WR. Not a buyer on Snead, check his stats from last year, extremely streaky, tough to own on a week to week basis. QB - Jimmy! Who needs Brady. RB - Cardinals were trailing all game, but doesn't take away from David Johnson's production, still a solid top tier RB. WR - Hogan is a sleeper that actually delivered this week, continue to monitor his progress. QB - You like that! Big Ben is a stud and Cousins is a dud. RB - Deangelo holding it own for LeVeon, and doing it well just like last year. Matt Jones stinks, and splitting carries with Thompson, what a disaster. WR - King Antonio shows exactly why he is undoubtedly the best receiver in the league. Eli Rogers could end up being a nice complement to Antonio. DeSean had a quiet 100 yard game. QB - You wonder why Mike McCoy has the best odds for first coach to be fired? Rivers didn't even get a chance to hold the lead, why even play him. Alex Smith is the most underrated QB in the league. RB - Why does KC still need an aging over-the-hill (29 yo), and injury prone Jamaal Charles? Just make Spencer Ware the starter. WR - Keenan Allen is out for the season with torn ACL, what a huge bummer. Look for Tyrell Williams to get some looks. QB - Matty Ice had a solid game. Winston is approaching elite level in just his second year. RB - Try to get Dougie if get owners to the sell him low, he always starts slow and heats up later. No surprise Freeman wasn't much a of factor, especially for a first rounder. Tevin Coleman is the future. WR - Better days will come for Winstons to Evans connection for years to come. Sanu looking like a solid signing for the Falcons. QB - Goff era beging next week? RB - So Girly...geez. Long year for the Rams. Should have known Hyde-and-seek would thrive as the starting RB for a Chip Kelly offense. Steal of the draft? WR - 12 targets and 4 catches? Terrible contract to throw all that guaranteed money at Austin. Former Jets outcast Jeremy Kerley led the team with 11 targets, very solid, can it continue?
