A rare losing week for Colin, but not a terrible one, going 2-3 last week.  He did warn us that he didn’t feel great about those picks last week.  Better be feeling it this week buddy!

If you’re looking for other winners, Chris Berman and Supercontest leaders have been killing it so far this year. Also, these two New Yorkers, Mike Francesa and Craig Carton both have been quietly have a great year, both picking at over 60% for the season. And don’t miss our boy Cousin Sal’s picks this week.

THE HERD’S BLAZIN’ FIVE PICKS NFL 2016 WEEK 14 (Season Record 37-27-1):

New Orleans (+2.5) at Tampa Bay – Going against Cousin Sal’s best bet here.  Saints have the top ranked offense in the league and 2nd in the league in points.  Tampa has been hot, but they are only 2-4 at home.  Saints have won 8 of the last 9 between the two teams.  Saints win 30-28.

Denver (+1) at Tennessee – Denver simply has a better roster than the Titans.  Denver defense is only allowing 192 passing yards a game and have 36 sacks, both of which lead the NFL.  While the Titans defense is 21st in takeaways, and 26th in passing.  Denver wins 28-24.

Arizona at Miami (-1) – Arizona defense isn’t as good as advertised, they have allowed more than 20 points in 5 straight games.  Miami is used to playing closed games, their last 5 games have been decided by a TD or less.  Arizona’s season’s over while Miami has more to play for.  Miami wins 24-20.

Seattle at Green Bay (+2.5) – Going against Cousin Sal again here.  Arod has been hot lately, with 19 TDs and 3 INT in his last 7 games.   Packers have won 15 of last 16 December home games, and they are desperate to win this game to keep their playoff hopes alive.  Green Bay wins 24-23

Baltimore (+7) at New England – Colin loves this line.  Baltimore has the best rushing defense in the league, allowing just 74 YPG.  Flacco has been playing well lately, throwing 4 TDs last game.  Baltimore also has the best kicker in the NFL.  New England averages 5 points less when Gronk doesn’t play.  New England will win in a close one, 27-26.
