Colin continues the trend of mediocrity, going 3-2 again last week.  He has gone 2-3 or 3-2 all 3 weeks ago far, but at least he has now won on back to back weeks.  It did take a miracle covers by the Colts to give Colin a positive week.  Chargers had yet another last minute melt down to blow that game, they were winning handily for 59 minutes of the game.

FYI, Colin mentioned in this segment that he’s taking the Washington Huskies -3 tonight against Stanford Nerds.

THE HERD’S BLAZIN’ FIVE PICKS NFL 2016 WEEK 4 (Season Record 8-7):

[loser] Dallas at San Francisco (+3) – Niners lost to superior teams against Carolina and Seattle.  Now they play at home hosting a young Dallas team that has a banged up oline.  Dallas has a shaky defense, allowing 411 yards per game in their last 2 games.  Niners are the team playing with more urgency here. Take the points, Niners win outright 24-23.

[loser] Seattle at Jets (+1) – Just like our Cousin Sal, Colin is calling the Jets as the LOCK of the week.  Jets are at home getting points, while we have a Seattle team flying from the west coast.  Jets dline should control this game, against a banged up Seattle oline.  The same Seattle oline that got Russell Wilson running for his life and suffering multiple injures on his leg.  Jets will play ball control running the ball, they will control the turnover issues. Jets win outright 26-20.

[winner] Tennessee at Houston (-5.5) – Even though J.J. Watt is now likely out for the season, Mariota has been a turnover machine this year, with 4 Int and 2 fumbles so far.  Colin also doesn’t like the coaching staff on the Titans.  Lamar Miller also has been dependable so far this year. The biggest edge Houston has is two-fold, they’re coming off a game they just got humiliated (Colin LOVES redeem games), and they have extra preparation time since they last played on Thursday last week.  Houston blows out the Titan 31-20.

[winner] Indianapolis at Jacksonville (+2.5) – Colin loves Andrew Luck, but he hates that Indy roster.  Colts are 15-13 on the road with Andrew luck, and this game will be played in London.  Colts roster are almost as bad as Cleveland, allowing 6.4 yards a play on defense.  Gus Bradley is playing for his job here, Jacksonville wins outright 27-24.

[loser] Detroit (-2.5) at Chicago – Lions offense has been on fire this year, one of two teams averaging over 400 yards and over 27 points a game.  Stafford has 26 TDs and 4 Ints since week 10 of 2015, he’s on fire.  Detroit is quietly becoming a surprising team in the NFL, they will club the bears 38-23 this year.
