Cousin Sal’s lock of the week bet last week got royally screwed by Aaron Rodgers’ Hail Mary touchdown, that score served zero purpose except ruin the spread for the game, that game should have ended as a push for most people.  Cousin Sal ended up going 1-1-1 last week.

COUSIN SAL 2016 NFL PLAYOFF CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP BEST BETS:

sal1

Arizona (+3) at Carolina – Even though Carolina was playing prevent defense last week in the second half, that secondary was exposed in Seattle’s second half comeback, Cousin Sal does not trust that secondary.  The weak secondary plays right into the hands of Arizona’s potent aerial attack.  You have Larry Fitzgerald against Cortland Finnegan in a huge mismatch.  Arizona’s 7-1 on the road this year, and 7-3 in their last 10 ATS as road dog.  Arizona’s going to the superbowl.

sal2

New England (-3) at Denver- This game comes down to 2 players (not named Manning or Brady),  Chris Harris Jr. and Julian Edelman.  Patriots are 10-0 this year with Edelman in the lineup.  Harris is one of the best cover corner on the Bronc who has the job of covering Edelman this game.  Harris has a lingering injury that could cause him to miss the game, he is officially listed as a game time decision.  New England is a road favorite this game.  In the last 35 years, there has been 4 road favorites in the AFC Championship game, 3 have covered, Patriots will make it 4.  Do not trust Peyton Manning’s arm.  New England wins 27-13.

Just for kicks, Sal’s silly weekly prop bets…
