The sky is falling!  Cousin Sal suffered his first losing week since week 6, and also lost his 3rd best bet of the year.  The Steelers really blew this game, they had a 14 point lead late in the 4th quarter, and even after blowing the entire lead, they still had 2 chances to score a touchdown in the final minute of the game to cover the spread for Cousin Sal’s week 9 best bet, but Deangelo Williams inexplicably stepped out of bounds at the 1 foot line to set up a game winning field goal. Cousin Sal threw out the idea that ESPN is going to create a 30 for 30 film on the 2015 Pittsburgh Steelers week 9 point shaving scandal.

The teaser never really stood a chance either since the Falcons came out completely flat for the game and lost in a huge upset to the lowly Niners.  It also didn’t help that Dan Quinn decided to kick a field goal down 4 points with a couple minutes left in the game, not good.  Cousin Sal’s lone win was the Titans, which actually under control throughout the game with the Titans winning the game outright.

LOCK OF THE WEEK (6-3 FOR THE YEAR):

[winner] Arizona (+3) at Seattle – Just look at that cute face of Sal’s, does that look like a man that will lose  his best bet on back to back weeks?  Sure hope not.  Seattle’s offensive line is beat up, giving up 31 sacks.  Arizona is 11-0 against the spread when they are underdogs of 3 points or less.  Sal loves the Cardinals here.

OTHER BEST BETS (11-7 FOR THE YEAR):

[winner] Jacksonville (+5.5) at Baltimore – this Jax team has a little fight in them, this is not your father’s Jaguars anymore.  Allen Robinson with over 700 yards receiving this year, going up against the 32th passing defense in the Ravens.  That should be enough to keep the game close.  The feisty Jaguars will cover this game.

[loser] Detroit at Green Bay (-6) / Kansas City at Denver (pick em) 2 team teaser – Detroit historically have had a tough time at Lambeau Field.  Aaron Rodgers will light up that 30th ranked defense of the Lions.  Broncos will win 8th in a row over KC.  KC defense is shot, allows 3.5 yards per carry. Denver will simply need to win the game outright to cover this teaser.
