agreed I hate it when they do this, maybe that was the line before the rams thursday night game but no ones getting that line, you cant do your picks on friday and take a line from last week or even from monday, you should take the line as it is on the day you pick. Thats the only thing that annoys me about colins picks sometimes, because who knows if he actually bets these games himself, so he just “uses” the opening line instead of the line that he would get where he actually betting on friday like the rest of us. He’s actually been pretty good about it this year up until this week, last year he was pretty bad about it.
Anyways I shouldnt complain too much, I dont always take colins picks but it helps steer me in the right direction for bets Im going to take for the weekend and im 15/19 through week 3, 5 of those where teasers, kinda falling in love with teasers this year.

Ill take another look, but I was looking last night and nothing really popped for me like it did the previous 3 weeks, im sure ill end up taking one at least just a little undecided on which as of now. I already won on a teaser last night, I took WaSU +10.5 and the over which was 53.5 with the teaser. Normally prefer betting the NFL but that one was too good to pass up on.

I havent placed the bet yet, but I think illl probably take chargers and chiefs in a 6 point teaser. Its a little hard to pass up on +12.5 (with the teaser) for washington so im just kinda debating which way I want to go on that, the only teaser ive gotten burned on so far this year was taken the chargers against the chiefs, kareem hunt broke out that touch down run at the very end to go up 14 and that put me out of business.
not sure why everybody’s on the Chagers this week. it was the top Supercontest concensus pick also.

@George for some reason I do not like that teaser of the day. For one I mostly prefer 2 team teasers obviously you dont make as much but its so much easier to hit and id prefer to consistently hit. I just have a feeling one of those will be an upset. Its a nice teaser because it puts all the big favorites at under a field goal. I still feel like their is an upset in there , its actually all the games that I stayed away from this week with my straight bets.
Oh and I ended up switching my teaser, I ended up taking chargers and ravens in a 6 point teaser. I really like that one. Chargers are built to win now in a lot of ways so I dont think they are tanking, talent is not a problem on their team including with Philip Rivers, injuries and o-line are the main problem. I think they are the best 0-3 team by far.
I wish they had an edit so I didnt have to keep posting if I forgot something, either way who really thought that houston was going to go into new england and do anything they where a 14 point underdogs, I think that carolina may be a better team in a lot of ways and if cam can finally start putting together some home run throws (especially since new england cant apply pressure) I could see them coming out with a win. Just one of the reasons I dont like that teaser, also I dont think im nearly as high on the falcons as everyone else is. Good luck to anyone who took that teaser though I would certainly love to be proven wrong.

Yea I ended up with a winning week but only because I front loaded the 2 bets I was most sure about giants +3 and denver -3 went 3-6 overall.
Hopefully the lines will be a little less confusing this week, aside from giants and denver most of the lines I felt weird about, Normally I would have felt good about my jaguars pick at -3.5 but they had just come off a london game with no bye and that worried me. In retrospect I obviously should have taken the rams I was planning on taking them all week, but the +6 worried me I would have taken them all day at +7 or + 8.
I was shocked I didnt cover in that ravens game in my teaser, each of their last nine games was settled by less than 4 and the steelers havent won there in several years. I thought it was a lock at + 9 and I ended up hitting on the second part of the teaser obviously with the chargers. Somethings wrong with Joe Flacco , that back is bothering him more than I thought.
Ravens made a little push toward the end, but Pittsburgh pulled away
Ravens have been solid at home over the last few years, it’s pretty surprising for them to get blown out at home

Wooo , decided to take the chiefs today was betting on Colin keeping the hot streak going. What a cover at the end holy shit. I was about to turn it off in disgust , the last 10 minutes of the game while it was close I just knew it was going to be decided by a field goal one way or the other so I was bummed out almost the entire 4th quarter. For houston to scoop and score after a backwards pass on the final play, is just gold.
I turned off the TV after the FG with 4 seconds left..only to find out we WON when my phone started blowing up. Glorious WIN!
