Update: here are Colin Cowherd’s NFL Playoffs Conference Championship Game Picks

Colin did his final Blazing Five picks last week and pretty much got destroyed, going 1-4.  Nice way to end the season buddy.  Since there aren’t enough games to make up Blazing Five picks remaining weeks in the playoffs, he’ll comment on individual games, and here are his thoughts on this week’s games.

COLIN COWHERD NFL 2016 DIVISIONAL ROUND PLAYOFF PICKS:

Kansas City (+5) at New England – The most difficult game to call.  Edelman and Gronk might not be completely healthy, and with the Chandler Jones situation.  KC might steal this game.  Very competitive game.  Colin thinks it’s a field goal game, so he’s hinting he would take the points here.

Green Bay at Arizona (-7) – Will not be a blowout, they crushed them last game, and it’s tough to do that twice in the same season.  Arizona will win, they are the better team, it should be a competitive game, but it will not come to the last series of the game.  Colin did not pick against the spread, simply said Arizona will win.

Seattle (+1.5) at Carolina – Beast Mode will be ready to go this weekend.  Russel Wilson is the smartest QB post-snap Colin has ever seen, reminds him of Fran Tarkenton.  It’s a field goal game, tough game to call, close competitive game.  Seattle has the better line, Doug Baldwin is becoming a star.  Seattle is the veteran playoff team here, playing on the road won’t affect them too much.  Better defense, more play makers on Seattle side, they win the game in a close game.

Pittsburgh at Denver (-8) – Antonio Brown has been ruled out of the game, Big Ben is playing with a torn ligament in his shoulder.  This is the game that Colin feels most strongly about.  Denver will BLOW OUT Pittsburgh this week.  Steelers just came out of a incredibly physical game with their divisional rival, and came out extremely banged up. With Denver, you get a team coming out of the bye week, players all healthy, team with the solid defense, and playing at home.  Like Jason Whitlock said, Colin also does not trust Pittsburgh much, they are a flaky team, the coaching staff on Denver are more trustworthy in a big game.
