Eagles (-1.5) at Buccaneers

The Eagles boast the NFL’s second-ranked offense and just defeated the Saints in New Orleans, one of the league’s loudest venues.

Jalen Hurts impressed with 311 yards of total offense. While turnovers have been an issue, Saquon Barkley leads the NFL in touches, rushing yards, and touchdowns.

Tampa Bay’s offense has struggled, averaging only 13 points in their last two games and facing injury concerns with 17 players on the list.

Cowherd predicts the Eagles will win 30-24.

Rams (+3) at Bears

Cowherd sees Chicago as poorly coached on offense, with regression in both the offensive line and running back performance.

The Bears’ rushing offense ranks 31st in the league. In contrast, the Rams’ offensive line is getting healthier, while the Bears have 13 players on the injury list.

Cowherd views this as a coaching and quarterback mismatch favoring the Rams. He predicts the Rams will win outright, 24-20.

Cardinals (-3.5) vs Commanders

Arizona has the best point differential among losing teams in the NFL, with their losses coming against strong opponents (Bills and Lions).

Kyler Murray is completing nearly 69% of his passes and has strong offensive weapons. Cowherd expects regression from Washington, particularly in their turnover-free streak and Sam Howell’s 80% completion rate.

With Austin Ekeler potentially out and Washington’s defense struggling, Cowherd predicts a comfortable Cardinals win, 33-24.

Ravens (-2.5) vs Bills

Despite Buffalo’s popularity, Cowherd favors Baltimore at home. The Ravens nearly beat Kansas City and dominated Dallas. They lead the league in total offense and have two top-10 rushers in Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.

Buffalo faces multiple injuries at linebacker and cornerback. Cowherd notes that Baltimore’s run-based offense differs from Buffalo’s previous opponents.

He predicts a Ravens win and cover, 28-24.

Seahawks (+3.5) at Lions

Cowherd favors the underdog Seahawks, citing their top-ranked PFF defense and Geno Smith’s efficient passing. Detroit is missing their All-Pro center, and Jared Goff has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns.

While acknowledging Detroit’s strong offensive line, Cowherd believes Seattle’s ability to control the ball through passing and running will be crucial.

He expects a close game with Detroit possibly winning, but takes Seattle to cover.
