Who is Gronk’s backup?

It appears that Rob Gronkowski ruled himself out of week 1’s game against the Cardinals, he actually didn’t even make the flight, so there’s zero chance he will play.

A regular human being would be bummed out and hopes he comes back soon.

But in this age of fantasy football nerds, the common questions we end up getting is…”who is Gronk’s backup????”  Better pick him up and stick him in the lineup ASAP!

The answer is this dude…

Career journeyman tightend, Martellus Bennett, who, incidentally, happens to be brother of Seahawks’ Michael Bennett if you didn’t know.  Dude’s a beast, but always seem to be unfulfilled talent.  Better rip it up this week buddy, I got you in my starting lineup!
