Game Analysis

Vikings -5.5 vs Falcons

The Vikings are a strong home team with wins coming by over six points and they rank top 10 in both scoring offense and defense.

They are second in the league in takeaways and fourth in sacks, which positions them well against Kirk Cousins, who is struggling with zero touchdowns and six interceptions in his last three games.

Minnesota appears to be playing with more momentum and purpose.

Colin projects Vikings to win 33-24.

Dolphins -5.5 vs Jets

Tua Tagovailoa has impressive home and warm-weather statistics, boasting a 104 passer rating above 60 degrees and a 32-10 record in warm weather games.

The Jets’ Aaron Rodgers looks tired, was shut out in the second half against the Seahawks, and appears to be in a quarterback mismatch against Tua.

Miami is fighting for playoff positioning and needs this win, while the Jets are a poor road and second-half offensive team.

Colin predicts Dolphins to win 27-7.

Browns +6.5 vs Steelers

Cleveland has the number one offense since Jameis Winston became starter and can score points effectively. Pittsburgh is coming off a hard-fought divisional road win and has played five straight one-score games.

While Colin likes the Steelers to win, he believes the Browns will cover due to their offensive personnel and coaching. The Browns’ ability to create turnovers and potentially score with pick-sixes makes the game competitive.

Colin projects Steelers to win 24-23.

Bills -3.5 vs Rams

Buffalo has an impressive 15 straight regular season wins in December and January and is getting healthier. Josh Allen performs exceptionally well against the Rams, completing almost 80% of his throws in previous matchups.

The Bills lead the NFL in second-half point differential, and Allen is difficult to sack. Matt Stafford is struggling with a bad ankle, has the lowest passer rating under pressure, and is dealing with offensive challenges.

Colin predicts Bills to win 28-20.

Chiefs -4 vs Chargers

Kansas City is undefeated at home this year and historically dominant in December, January, and February under Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes is heating up with a 100 passer rating and 68% completion percentage over recent games.

The Chargers are one-dimensional with offensive challenges, including JK Dobbins being out and struggles against winning teams. Colin sees this as a potentially rough game for Justin Herbert.

He projects Chiefs to win 27-17.
