Bill Simmons Unleashes His Million Dollar Picks for NFL Week 3
Falcons (+3) at Lions
Simmons likes the Falcons despite his doubts about QB Desmond Ridder. He thinks the Falcons can run the ball with standout RB Tyler Allgeier and control the game indoors against a Lions defense he doesn’t think is good.
Packers (-1.5) vs Saints
The Packers are home against the 2-0 Saints, but Simmons thinks this line is off and should be Packers by 3. He likes the Packers this year and Aaron Jones is expected back. Meanwhile the Saints have only scored 37 points in 2 weeks.
Patriots (-2.5) at Jets
Simmons thinks this is the biggest game of Mac Jones’ career facing the 0-2 Jets. If the Patriots and Belichick can’t beat Zach Wilson, he says they need to pack it up and tank for a top pick like Caleb Williams.
Steelers (-2.5) at Raiders
Simmons sees this as a gift line, calling the Raiders terrible on both sides of the ball. He still believes in the Steelers despite their struggles against great defenses in Weeks 1-2. Facing the Raiders defense is just what they need.
3-Team Parlay (+111)
The parlay includes:
- Browns ML (-184)
- Cowboys (-2.5 alt line)
- Chiefs (-2.5 alt line)
Simmons thinks the Browns defense can win a low-scoring game vs the Titans.
Broncos (+6.5) at Dolphins
Simmons calls this the “Luca Brazzi” pick – the line that smells fishiest. He doesn’t understand why the line isn’t higher given how bad the Broncos look and how good the Dolphins look.
