Colin Cowherd’s Blazin’ 5 Picks: NFL Week 6 in 2025

Colin’s Week 5 Blazin’ 5 turned in a 3–2 card. He cashed in on three plays (Colts, Broncos, Titans/Cards Over) and missed on two (Jets, Seahawks).

It was a solid bounce-back after earlier turbulence — a winning week is always a day in the bank — and he again leaned into favorites and matchups he trusted.

Onto week 6…

Colin Cowherd Week 6 2025 Blazing 5

Seahawks at Jaguars — Pick: Seahawks +1.5 (Seattle ML lean)

Seattle’s profile travels: they’ve held a fourth-quarter lead in every game and own the league’s No. 2 scoring offense since Week 2. Sam Darnold is on a heater (130+ passer rating over his last three), and Mike Macdonald’s group typically cleans up after a bad defensive outing—expect a bounce-back against a Jags team on short rest after an emotional win. Turnover luck regresses for Jacksonville; Seattle’s discipline and late-game poise show up. Projection: Seahawks 30, Jaguars 27.

Patriots at Saints — Pick: Under 45.5 total

Both offenses are inconsistent and neither side runs it well, which drags pace and red-zone efficiency. New England’s defense (with Christian Gonzalez back) makes you earn every throw, and the Saints are still searching for rhythm with Spencer Rattler. Off an emotional Pats road win, this profiles as choppy, field-goal heavy, and under the number. Projection: Patriots 21, Saints 20 (Under).

Chargers at Dolphins — Pick: Dolphins +4.5

Miami as a home dog gets the nod. Tua has been efficient at Hard Rock (112 passer rating in his last seven at home), and the Chargers could be down to a third LT and third RB—bad news in the red zone where they’ve been settling for kicks. Even if L.A. controls possession, the injuries and recent Herbert turnovers tilt value to the points. Projection: Chargers 24, Dolphins 23 (Miami covers).

Titans at Raiders — Pick: Raiders −3.5

It’s an “ugly” side with logic. Vegas was humbled on the road and should lean into a suddenly real run game with Ashton Gentry (173 rush yards per game the last two weeks). Tennessee has been stuck under 20 points in four of five and is allowing 6.0+ yards per play; they don’t rush the passer or create explosives. The Raiders control the line of scrimmage and grind one out. Projection: Raiders 26, Titans 17.

Bears at Commanders — Pick: Commanders −4.5

Favorite play. Washington is 2–0 at home with two blowout wins and has averaged 27+ the last three weeks. Jaden Daniels looked outstanding, special teams grade out best-in-class, and the defensive front should feast. Chicago has lost four straight in prime time and quietly owns one of the league’s worst defenses (6.7 yards per play allowed). Home juice plus trenches = cover. Projection: Commanders 33, Bears 26.
