Bill Simmons and Joe House’s Week 13 NFL Picks 2025

Last week was a frustrating 2–3 card, with Tampa and New Orleans imploding and the Patriots missing the cover by a single point. But after hitting the big Chiefs–Lions parlay and a solid Jaguars road cover.

Onto week 13…

Bill Simmons NFL Picks Record

2025 Season: 33-37 (47.1%)

Bill Simmons Week 13 NFL Picks 2025

Packers +2.5 at Lions
Eagles –2.5 + Cowboys +7.5 (Parlay)
Bengals +7 at Ravens
Browns +6.5 vs 49ers
Giants +7.5 at Patriots

Packers +2.5 at Lions

Simmons and House spent the most time on this one, with House calling it his “Thanksgiving lock.” Their argument is simple: the Packers defense is elite, Detroit is coming off an overtime game, their OL is worn down, and Green Bay isn’t intimidated by playing in Detroit. House believes the Lions’ physical identity is slipping, and Jordan Love plus the Green Bay pass rush can replicate Week 1’s matchup.

Eagles –2.5 + Cowboys +7.5 (Parlay)

This is the “holiday parlay.” Eagles simply need to win by a field goal on Black Friday, and Dallas gets extra cushion up to +7.5 in a matchup where they expect a close game. Simmons wants the extra points rather than taking Dallas outright because he expects a backdoor to be wide open.

Bengals +7 at Ravens

They think seven is too many points for a divisional matchup, even with Burrow still shaking off rust. Lamar hasn’t looked fully right the past few weeks, the Ravens rarely blow out good quarterbacks, and Cincinnati’s defense showed signs of life against the Patriots. This is mostly a “value side” pick.

Browns +6.5 vs 49ers

Their long-standing tradition: Browns at home are a different team. House calls this “free points,” noting San Francisco’s dominance last week was more about Carolina’s incompetence than Niners excellence. Miles Garrett could disrupt everything, and Cleveland’s home defensive splits justify the play.

Giants +7.5 at Patriots

This was the last pick added. The line is simply too high for a Patriots team missing the entire left side of its offensive line and unable to run the ball. Even if New England gets a lead, they don’t have the offense to extend it. With Jameis likely starting for the Giants, the “backdoor” remains fully open.
